U.S. Development, L.L.C. (USDC) has been and is one of Ascension Parish’s leading developers and builders since its inception in 1994. USDC was founded by Cathy Bordelon in 1994, who had a vision that the parish would experience explosive growth due to Baton Rouge families moving to a more rural setting and to one of the best public school systems in Louisiana. This vision proved to be correct and has led to success with USDC being one of the premier developers/builders in Ascension Parish. Initiallly, USDC concentrated on developing subdivisions and marketing to outside builders. In 1992, USDC realized that an integrated organization was necessary. Since that time, USDC develops subdivisions, builds the homes through Three B Construction, L.L.C., and has established its own in-house marketing team. USDC has also expanded its “area of influence” within the last two years with two developments in East Baton Rouge Parish and, currently, with a subdivision in Rapides Parish in central Louisiana.
